Designed with seniors in mind, The Weils Assisted Living community offers all the comforts of home and so much more! Everything you need, everything you want, is right on our campus or in our neighborhood. We offer a full continuum of services to enrich residents’ lives on all levels and encourage as much independence as possible.
The Weils is pleased to present The David and Freda Robinson Residence, a memory care assisted living community located on its campus in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. This beautiful new pavilion offers an alternative for individuals who need supervision and assistance with the activities of daily living. Every detail of this warm and inviting residence has been designed to promote a feeling of security and engagement.
Our intimate, homelike memory care pavilion has its own gathering space for meals, visitors, socialization and activities. This safe and secure area of 18 private suites provide a high staff-to-resident ratio in a warm and caring setting.
Residents can also participate in the many cultural and entertainment programs that take place in the Robinson Residence.
The Weils recognizes that individuals with early-to-mid-stage dementia and Alzheimer’s require special care and services. We are passionate about helping each resident live life to the fullest by engaging them in activities and programming throughout the day, designed to enhance their quality of life.
We focus on the philosophy of whole-person wellness that keeps older adults healthy in mind, body and spirit throughout their journey. This supportive, secure memory care environment encourages residents to reminisce about their past while helping to foster dignity and socialization.
Our life enrichment team is trained on how to maximize each individual’s abilities and potential. Residents enjoy our interactive programs in the activity center. A multi-sensory room helps residents connect with all-five senses and offers them comfort and relaxation.
Each suite has been designed with the safety and security of our residents in mind and is specially designed to provide a secure environment. Our residents are in good hands with 24-hour nursing supervision and personal care assistants who specialize in person-centered care. They assist with any resident needs – from bathing and dressing to housekeeping and laundry.
Resident outings include trips to museums, restaurants, sporting events and parks. Beautiful and secure courtyard gardens with walking paths and seating areas are perfect for strolling and relaxing.
The 29-bed, rehabilitation pavilion on The Weils campus offers a soothing and healing environment for short-term post-hospital nursing, rehab and long-term care.
The Weils offers innovative rehabilitation modalities to help bridge the gap between rehab and community reintegration. Skilled nursing care combined with physical, occupational and speech therapies after an illness, injury or surgery, helps get you stronger and prepares you to transition to assisted living or home and be more independent.
Our interdisciplinary clinical team, led by a medical director, includes physicians, rehab therapists, nurses, nursing assistants, dietitians, social workers and life enrichment coordinators. They work together, along with the patient and family, to ensure the best treatment options and outcomes based on individual needs.
Private, comfortable and bright rooms with warm lighting, matching furniture and laminate wood flooring contribute to a restful yet productive stay. Private bathrooms with showers and safety assist equipment complete your rehab experience.
There are many gardens with sitting areas throughout the facility as well as outdoor relaxation in our enclosed courtyard and on our front porch. Fireplaces and cozy seating areas all contribute to therapeutic and wellness benefits.
Features of the Rehab Pavilion:
Short-stay transition guests are offered:
You can also think of a respite stay as a possible transition from our rehab pavilion – many of our residents stayed at The Weils as a respite resident and decided to make The Weils their home.
Before respite residents begin their stay we ask a lot of questions, from medication and sleeping preferences to favorite foods and interests. This helps us plan the appropriate services and care level for each individual. Most importantly, it also lets us get to know each respite resident as a person, rather than just as a visitor.
