Beauty Grows in the Sadie Fisher Garden

Looking out onto the Sadie Fisher Garden at Stone Gardens Assisted Living Residence at Menorah Park, Barry Feldman can’t help but beam. He sees the joy on residents’ faces as they feel the warmth of the sun and experience the harmonious calm brought by the sounds of nature. Some are enjoying a good book and others are chatting with friends and family. These are simple pleasures he envisioned when the Garden was simply an idea.

Barry’s desire was to honor his beloved Bubbe Sadie, of blessed memory, with whom Barry enjoyed many special moments; the sort of unconditional love from a grandmother that remains in the mind and heart forever. “My bubbe experienced the highest quality of life at Stone Gardens and I appreciate what everyone did for her. It’s not only an obligation, but a privilege to pay it forward,” explained Barry.

As gardens grow, so does the Sadie Fisher Garden. Beautifying elements, plants, and flowers have been added to the garden with the generosity of an endowed permanent donor fund that Barry established to maintain the beauty of the garden for generations to come.

Menorah Park is appreciative of Barry’s ongoing support as a grateful family member who has become an engaged civic leader in our community.

A donor fund in honor or memory of a cherished loved one is easy to create. A minimum gift of $10,000, which can be paid over time, enables you to establish a permanent fund to support an activity, program or service that you or your loved one cherishes at Menorah Park.
