COVID 19 Emergency Fund

Your Generosity in Action

Menorah Park’s heroic staff members dedicated to wellbeing and safety of our residents are extremely grateful for the generosity of Menorah Park board and community members who have stepped forward to help fund the following items:

• 6 Vital Sign machines which were desperately needed as our current equipment already required replacement. This is coupled with an increased need to check vital signs more often as a check for symptoms of the virus - $2,500 each
• 12 Cellular I-Pads and cell service for a year, which enables residents to engage with loved ones through FaceTime and other apps, and to enjoy other engaging activities.
• 1 reclining high-back wheelchair - $221 each
• 30 standard size wheelchairs to replenish inventory due to wear and tear from everyday use - $120 each
• 20 Touchless Thermometers for increased temperature checks of staff and residents due to the pandemic. The touchless thermometers are more hygienic and faster - $100 each
• Funding to help cover the cost of staff meals, which are now complimentary - $12,000 per month
• Emergency need for additional hand sanitizer - $2,000

Your generosity during this challenging time helps in so many ways. Responses to help fund needs including emergency supplies and equipment have resulted in $47,000 donations thus far. We would very much like to thank the following people who made all of this possible:
