Aquatic HIIT, or High-Intensity Interval Training, is an exercise class designed with short bursts of vigorous exercise alternating with low intensity recovery periods. Each bout of exercise is like a sprint to raise your heart rate, with rest to regain the energy for another intense burst. HIIT has been shown to produce many health benefits including decreases in body fat, heart rate, and blood pressure. You will burn calories long after the class is over.
