Cognitive Aging (Intermediate)
Tracy Markis, PhD
August 12, 10:00am - August 26, 11:00am
Our aging population needs to manage information and technology in daily life. As we get older, some of our mental processing abilities decline, while others are increasing. This 3-week presentation will engage you in a discussion on the theories of cognitive aging (why are there differences as we age?), summarize the gains and the losses, and consider everyday issues, such as language, time of day, creativity, and decision making.
