Berland celebrates 101st birthday

Connie Berland, a 15-year resident of Wiggins Place in Beachwood, celebrated her 101st birthday on Oct. 6 with family, friends, music and an ice-cream truck. To commemorate this occasion, her favorite song, “Begin the Beguine,” was played.
