Peter B. Lewis Aquatic & Therapy Center
If you are looking for a place to continue to stay healthy, we have what you are looking for. Our health maintenance participation has grown to more than five times the participation a decade ago. Our members know the value of their ongoing commitment and developed a slogan all their own….“Live better, Live longer.”
We offer a wide range of services to help adults “Live better, Live longer.” Although therapy eventually comes to an end, your need to stay active and healthy does not. You can use the Peter B. Lewis Aquatic & Therapy Centers’ pools and fitness center independently after graduation from therapy, or you can continue your health program with the assistance of our exercise specialists. We are open 6 days a week and offer morning and evening hours to accommodate your busy schedule.
Independent participants can use the facility at their own pace and time. Participants have access to the fitness center, recreation pool, and all group exercise classes. Benefits Include: use of warm water pool and state of the art fitness center machines, ensures new participants 3 free consultation visits with our Exercise Specialists in the recreation pool or fitness center, and FREE Group Exercise classes.
The Small Supervised Group level provides participants with regular scheduled appointments, per week, in a small group setting with one of the Exercise Specialists. Appointments may be used in the recreation pool, fitness center, or both. Benefits include: appointments scheduled on a weekly basis, annual Personal Wellness Profile, individualized exercise program designed and monitored by an Exercise Specialist, and FREE Group Exercise classes.
$121.73/month including 2 scheduled appointments per week, OR
$173.91/month including 3 scheduled appointments per week, OR
$222.59/month including 4 scheduled appointments per week, OR
$255.05/month including 5 scheduled appointments per week
All it takes is a simple form and payment to get started. New clients will be offered an orientation appointment.
Personal Coaching is a one-on-one meeting between you and one of our Exercise Specialists. This time is set aside to help you and only you. Our undivided attention is available to you for 45 minutes to help enhance your fitness program and abilities.
This time can be spent going over:
Your Personal Wellness Profile will be developed while meeting one-on-one with our Exercise Specialist. The two of you will assess various topics that affect the development of your lifelong wellness plan. A Personal Wellness Profile is the perfect opportunity (perhaps annually or bi-annually) to monitor your progress, determine the effectiveness of your program, identify areas of improvement, and set goals for the coming year. Utilizing a technically advanced computer program, you and our exercise specialist will assess areas such as:
After reviewing the results of the assessment, we will work with you to create your individualized lifestyle wellness plan. At that point, you can make a commitment to change your daily routine or look to your Exercise Specialist to assist you further in achieving your goals.
