Qualifications and Expectations:
Class hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm. There
are 11 classroom days and 4 clinical practice days. No evening
classes are available. At the conclusion of the three week course
students will be eligible to sit for the State Test for nursing
assistants. Students will be considered for any open nursing
assistant positions if they successfully complete the course.
The state testing fee is paid only for those graduates who are
hired as Menorah Park employees. Uniforms:
If a student is hired they will be required to attend an eight day orientation immediately following the class. The first two days of the orientation are 8:30AM - 5:00PM, days 3, 4, and 5 are 7:00AM - 3:30PM and days 6, 7, and 8 are scheduled on your assigned shift. The starting rate of pay is $12.10 for a Nursing Assistant
