FUNdamentals Day Care Center, while open to the public, is committed to providing the employees of Menorah Park Center for Senior Living high quality child care service. Young children learn by hands-on, minds-on exploration and discovery, guided by teachers who prepare rich learning environments, provoke children’s questions, and mentor them. Parents can have peace of mind while they work knowing their child is well cared for.
As Early Childhood Educators we understand the importance of quality child care. With this in mind our teachers provide stimulating environments in each of our three classrooms. We follow a developmentally appropriate education model, set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, which adheres to the highest standards in our field. In our classrooms you will always see; warm and positive teacher-child interaction, children engaged in developmentally appropriate planned activities, regular communication with parents, a healthy and safe environment, respect for cultural diversity and nutritious USDA approved meals.

Classrooms
We provide child care for children 6 weeks of age to 5 years old in one of the classrooms described as follows:
Infant Program
6 weeks-18 months
During the first year of life, children learn and grow rapidly. Infants thrive and flourish when they know caring adults will meet their basic needs in a loving environment. Teachers also provide activities to develop physical and cognitive development. Our infant room is a warm and interactive place to be.
Toddler Program
18-36 months
Toddlers are very busy practicing new found skills and exploring their environment. Teachers plan activities which provide opportunities for them to build upon these skills while adding new ones. Key to this stage is a developing sense of independence. We foster this growth by encouraging self-help skills such as potty training and getting dressed.
Preschool Program
3-5 years
Preschool children are continuing to build on their skills and knowledge of the world while also preparing for kindergarten. Our classroom provides a variety of learning centers and theme-based lesson plans to encourage all areas of development. They also have the opportunity to participate in intergenerational activities around the campus, go on field trips and listen to guest speakers from the community.
Daily Child Care Fee
