A supporting foundation of Menorah Park Center For Senior Living, the Menorah Park Foundation provides financial resources to enable Menorah Park to care for the physical, emotional and religious needs of the individuals it serves. Contributions to the Foundation are used for general purposes and specific donor-selected activities.

In fulfilling its role, the Foundation encourages contributions of immediate and deferred gifts from donors whose personal values and philanthropic goals are in concert with those of Menorah Park.

The Foundation operates the Family Partners Program through which donations are sought from the families of Menorah Park residents whose care is covered by state Medicaid funding. Because Medicaid reimburses long-term care facilities at rates below the actual cost of care, the Foundation attempts to secure gifts from those families that are financially able to contribute. Their contributions help to bridge the gap between what the state pays and what it costs Menorah Park to provide superior-level care to all its residents.

With an eye toward securing the future of Menorah Park, the Foundation also educates donors' own investment counselors about the benefits of planned giving instruments such as charitable gift annuities, insurance policies, charitable trusts and bequests.
